Fisher Price Take Along Swing Woodlands
This is the only swing you need
This swing was one of the most important things we got our baby. She used it constantly from about 3 to 7 months of age, until she finally got too mobile to use it anymore. I loved it most because it sits low to the ground, which I feel was much safer than a traditional swing. It was by far her favorite place to nap and we only had to change the batteries once or twice in all those months.

Our son loves it but I have mixed feelings
I received this swing as a baby shower gift. I had registered for it so my friend/co-worker got me exactly what I wanted. However, I wish I had done a little bit of research on this item prior to registering. We weren't sure of the sex of our baby but decided on a darker print to go with the color furniture we decided for the baby's room. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find dark colored prints for a baby. So when I saw this print, I thought it was perfect. Now that our son is here, I must say, the swing has been a blessing. He adores it. He refuses to sleep in his very expensive crib, and opts for this swing instead. As he is in it so often (the swing seems to be the only thing that will get him to sleep), we seem to always have it on. Herein lies my problem. The "C" batteries that it requires seem to last little more than 2 weeks. I know the constant replacement is to be expected since we keep it on so much, but my problem is the manner in which you have to replace the batteries. This swing has a battery compartment that is locked in by screws. So every time we need to change the batteries (again about once every 2 weeks) we have to go get our toolkit, pull out a screwdriver and unscrew the "door". Why not use the standard "push down/in" door? It's not like the baby could get to the batteries as the door is on the outside of the swing anyway. I know it seems petty but it is just so annoying. My husband and I dread changing the batteries because of it and turn to each other when we realize the batteries have died with an "it's your turn" look on our faces. Aside from that, the swing meets our needs and our son loves it. I suppose that is all that matters.

Funny tail...
This swing works great for us, this is our 3rd and the only one who actually likes to swing. The speeds are just fine, not too fast I use the fastest one and he loves it puts him at ease and right to sleep. The only complaint I have is the placement of the woodland creatures, this is pretty funny. My son is breastfed and the first time I placed him in the swing he noticed the bright round tail and tried to nurse, he became very upset that he didnt get what he wanted..haha anyway I have to cover the seat w/a blanket, wish I could post the pic we took of him in action so funny!

Great for 2-7 months
This swing has been a life-saver for us! It's the only way our daughter will fall asleep during the day. She has been very content in this swing and will play until she falls asleep. It was a little too fast for her when she was very little (even on the slowest speed), but was perfect once she was a little bigger. She is now 7 1/2 months and is about to outgrow it because she is getting too active (and too long) for it. The greatest thing about it is that it is so easy to move around the house and to take with you on the road. Definitely recommend it.

sanity saver
This is the only place my new baby would sleep sundly that didnt involve being held. It is easy to move from room to room and takes little space. Doesn't fold very compactly for travel/storage.
